About Me

 

  Hey everyone!
   My name is Biljana  (BEEL-yahn-ah).
I am very excited to  share my new collection with you all! But, before I do, I think it is important that you know a few things about me to understand the inspiration behind my collection.
I was born and raised in Germany. I speak German, Serbian and learned English as an adult. I have a Serbian mother and my father is a Black American. I was raised by my mother in a Serbian household with no existing knowledge of how to properly care for my hair.

As a child, I struggled daily with not only the maintenance of my hair, but also with accepting and appreciating my individuality in the midst of a different culture that was not at all familiar with my texture of hair. Being immersed in a predominately White community, I had to teach myself how to manage my crown of curls. While trying numerous products, methods and styles, I grew to love the versatility of my hair texture. I also began to experiment with wigs, weaves and ponytails.

This new passion I discovered for quality hair led me to begin working on my very own collection in 2016, while still living in Germany. After meeting my husband, an active-duty military member who was stationed in Germany, we relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada. I decided that I wanted to continue following my passion, and began working on re-launching my business here in the United States.

I believe in my collection whole-heartedly. I have been using these products for myself for years and they have helped me learn to love my hair and my heritage. Combined with my background in fashion design and modeling, I believe the aesthetic my team has been able to create is unmatched. We have looks and styles for every occasion and everyone. My hope is that our products will give you as much confidence and pride as they have given me.

With that being said, it is my greatest honor to present to you the Biljana Brankovic Collection.
